OPENING PRAYER

Let us pray
(for the gift of peace)
Almighty and ever-present Father,
Your watchful care reaches from end to end
and orders all things in such power
that even the tensions and tragedies of sin
cannot frustrate Your loving plans.
Help us to embrace Your will,
give us the strength to follow Your call,
so that Your truth may live in our hearts,
and reflect peace to those who believe in Your love.

REFLECTION QUESTIONS

In making this prayer tangible for my life during this week, the following reflection questions emerged:
1.How is Father God ever present in your life?
2.How might you appreciate this week God's power to order all things?
3.Reflect on your life especially the areas of tension and 'tragedy of sin'.
4.How has God loving plan for you been fulfilled, despite the areas of tension and sin that you have identified?
5.What is God's will for me?
6.What is God's call and how might God give me the strength to follow His call in my life?
7.What is God truth mean for me and how might it live in my heart this week?
8. How will I reflect peace to those who believe in Your love? Why is this important?
May all those who are preparing for the Sacrament of Marriage, newlyweds and those who have been married for many years be strengthened in the grace of their commitment to each other in the Sacrament of Marriage that they are going to and/or have received.
